Why Visit Dig World?
- Operate Real Construction Equipment: Spanning three and a half acres in the parking lot of Katy Mills Mall, Dig World is divided into distinct areas, each dedicated to different types of equipment. A crowd favorite is the Caterpillar 303.5 Mini Excavator, which allows guests to dig through mounds of dirt with a powerful crane arm and bucket. Other attractions include a mini excavator for fishing items out of a pond and a skid steer loader for high-speed fun on a paved track.
- Other Fun Activities: If heavy construction equipment isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, Dig World offers a variety of other activities. Guests can explore a gem mining station (for an additional fee), play on a turf field, enjoy the playground, or relax at picnic tables under a covered pavilion.
- Host Special Events: Dig World also hosts birthday parties and special events. During birthday parties, the birthday child receives their own construction vest and can celebrate with friends who share a love for construction equipment. The park also offers field trips with an educational component, thanks to its partnership with Texas A&M University, making these outings both fun and informative. Additionally, Dig World hosts corporate events, where teams compete in various construction-themed challenges.
